## How to use Covalent data in Excel & Googlesheets with Cryptosheets

This article demonstrates three examples of how to pull Covalent API data into your spreadsheet using the `side panel console`,  `custom functions` and `templates`.

## Usage

Cryptosheets data can be pulled through multiple interfaces:

### Setup

  1. Install the Cryptosheets add-in from the [Microsoft AppSource Store](https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/office/WA104381695?src=intercom-Covalent)

  3. After it is installed, make sure you are logged into your Cryptosheets account through the Cryptosheets side panel

  1. From the Cryptosheets **Excel ribbon** click `data`
  2. From the **Googlesheets Add-ons menu** click `Cryptosheets` then select `Launch side-bar`
  3. Type in `Covalent...` then click on `Uniswap - Get Balances for Specific Provider by Date` 
  4. Scroll through the console parameters and input your values
  5. Select the cell you want to place the data into
  6. Click `make request`

> **Tip**: For both Excel and Googlesheeets you can use either the **[QUERY](https://docs.cryptosheets.com/functions/query)** or **[QUERYA](https://docs.cryptosheets.com/functions/querya)** custom function

1. **Excel** In any cell type the following: 

`=CS.QUERY("Covalent","Uniswap - Get Balances for Specific Provider by Date",{"key","Your_key";"exchange_address","0x09cabEC1eAd1c0Ba254B09efb3EE13841712bE14"})`

2. **Googlesheets** In any cell type the following: 

`=CSQUERY("Covalent","Uniswap - Get Balances for Specific Provider by Date",{"key","Your_key";"exchange_address","0x09cabEC1eAd1c0Ba254B09efb3EE13841712bE14"})`

3.
